Who am I ..... where am I .....

Halley blogged today about her concern that the relationships we establish on the web are a poor second to those we experience face to face. While I would never claim that they could ever replace "real" relationships what I have found, as I wrote in a previous post, is that my online process of getting to know other bloggers has meant that when we do meet face to face we have a head start over others who really are meeting for the first time.

However, as I was thinking about Halley's post I came across an item on the BBC News site about some researchers who are developing software which helps you maintain a certain personality in e-mail, prompting you to change any expressions which are out of character with your online persona.

Hmmmm......
