Blogging around

..... lots of people don't easily or readily "free associate" much ... and that thought felt more fertile.� I wonder (and need to think more about) whether the way work has been designed for the past fifty years or so, with constraints such as focus of the tasks, limits to thinking imposed by the principles of division of labour and working in functional silos, supervision and reporting relationships, responsibilities to a Core Group. and so on...� at any rate, I have a hunch that "free association" is the kind of thing that has often been actively discouraged .....

...... By blogging around, like walking or driving around different areas, you "get a sense" of what's up, what's going on.� If you then want to develop that hunch, that question, that niggle of intuition, there are all sorts of links and pointers that can and will show you some paths you might want to take for further exploration� ... and that's where it gets individual ... but from then on, it also stays connected to others.

But it's in the mass, the aggregate, that the new patterns form and are found - and that's what is so interesting about where all this may lead .....
