I just wanted to draw two books to your collective attention.
I have just finished, but will immediately read again, Doing Nothing by Steven Harrison. It really is a staggeringly profound little book and will appeal to those of you who enjoy Alan Watts.
The second book I wanted to mention is Staying Alive an anthology of poems collected by Neil Astley. I am not normally a great fan of poetry but this anthology already has me gripped with its focus on modern poems which Astley considers to be "life affirming and relevant".
