Mad dogs and Englishmen

I have to say I have little sympathy with those protesting in London yesterday against the banning of hunting with dogs in England.

I couldn't help feeling that those who had been hit by the poice or knocked down in the tussle might be feeling a little of the pain and distress felt by a fox pulled apart by a pack of dogs.

I guess the big difference is that it wasn't being done for pleasure and entertainment.

The protestors claim to represent the voice of the countryside. I live in the countryside and it ain't my voice!
