It's all relative

More and more these days I question investing in things like building businesses, homes, hopes and dreams because it feels like we are here for such a short time and can take nothing with us when we go. I read about people ruthlessly climbing their way to the tops of their businesses and think why bother - you'll be gone soon.

This isn't a depressing thought - simply an observation I increasingly make.

But then I read blogs like Hoarded Ordinaries and posts like this one which make me remember that we can slow things down and notice even the smallest of details and expand our universe infinitely in both time and space.
